FAQ
- Can the watermark be removed later?
- No. A watermark overwrites the image’s own pixels, so whatever was underneath is gone. Always keep the originals separately and treat the watermarked files as distribution copies only.
- My batch came out with inconsistent text sizes.
- It should not — this tool sizes the text as a proportion of each image’s shorter side, so differently sized photos come out looking consistent. Fixing it in pixels instead is what causes the problem: invisible on large photos, overwhelming on small ones.
- The watermark disappears into the background.
- That is what happens with white text on a bright photo. A faint shadow is added automatically for contrast, but if that is not enough, switch to a darker colour or raise the opacity. Tiling across the whole image is also more effective at discouraging unauthorised use.
